Great Games You've Probably Never Heard Of - An Update
Player Chronicle -- Posted on Apr 15 2009
Remember last month when I posted a chronicle detailing the new series I was going to start where I write a chronicle about good, obscure games, and have a video to accompany them? No? Well anyway, half of that statement is correct. I really, really, really, really, really, etc, want to make videos to go along with the reviews/articles, but it's turning out to be far more time consuming than I had anticipated.
Capturing the video isn't the problem, it's the editing. It takes a long time to watch the video multiple times for good clips to use, and editing them together into a decent montage is turning out to be a time-consuming nightmare.
Perhaps I'll get better/faster at it and be able to make some regular videos in the future, but for right now, the whole process just takes too long to do regularly. I'm really going to try to do videos for some of these, but like I said, it takes a while.
However, there is some good news. I have the first 4 chronicles in the series written and ready to go, so expect episode 1 to go online tonight, with the others coming every Wednesday until I run out of games to review.
I'm taking suggestions from everyone about good, obscure games to review, so drop me a line and I'll see what I can do. Generally, as long as a game isn't Super-rare or expensive, I should have no problem satisfying requests.

Posted On Apr 15 2009Isn't video editing annoying?! It can be fun, but you're right about the time it takes...ouch! Maybe you do videos for personal favorites and leave the smaller game reviews without videos, but instead just supplement them with photos?
Nonetheless, I'm excited to learn about some of these rare video games you've promised reviews for in this series
