I wanted to stop by and first say hello.

I chose not to single you out in my Chronicle comment, but I was disturbed by your comments and wanted to address them.

I'm sorry if you feel like I'm always pushing you to promote things. I'll leave you out of these efforts from now on.

On the GoGcast front, you always were saying you had to go, you were tired, or you didn't have any opinions to add to the conversation. You know you're always a welcome guest of the show, but you also know the level of excitement I want for that show and our limited space/bandwidth, so no offense, but I'd need you to bring more effort I suppose.

Lastly, I'd like nothing more than to see the non-competitive gamers continue to thrive around here. Since many times I feel like the only true dedicated member, like I said, my interests can dictate conversation. My challenge to you and all who are like you, would be START conversation that interest you, BRING people in to chat more about them, and FOLLOW-UP with those efforts to keep things dynamic and fun.

Let me know your thoughts and you know I'll always love you sir Wink

Write more chronicles, IMO. Sometimes I have breaks at work, and I feel like reading something game related. I actually own a copy of Legaia II. I have had it for forever, but I have not played it, lol. My brother seemed to enjoy it, though. I'll have to bust it out here one of these days when I am not neck deep in another game.

This week we've really cleaned up the Elite Squad for this growing video game community!

That valuable E is associated with your profile around the entire website, so live up to your status as a leader and let's continue to build this community into what we all want.

The team is not ordered in importance, but the lower listed folks are the least active and may be removed when we have another update. If you're one of these friends, let's see you pick it up and jump back into the GoG head first!

Bios have also been optimized for length and the page structure, so check those updated bios out as well. Here's the Elite Squad page, which can also be accessed on the homepage and in the footer of every GoG page:

What they add is more missions, clothes, vehicles, and all are pretty cool. They have some pretty interesting cars in the DLC. The problem is, the missions are available right from the beginning, and they most certainly shouldn't be available until after you beat the storyline!

Both Saturday and Sunday evening, the event only runs from 5-9pm, so we'd have plenty of time to enjoy other things during the weekend if you'd like and this large church is allowing us to spread the GoG word too!

Hey, just thought I would let you know that I am loving the Genesis! I got a copy of Contra: Hard Corps off of e-bay with box and instruction booklet in great condition. I haven't had so much fun playing a game in a long time. I haven't played this game in 10 years. It really takes me back... Is it sad that I can still have more fun on 16-bit games than I do on the latest item Square pumped out of the factory? It's a beautiful thing.

Also, I have been meaning to ask, how is Infinite Undiscovery treating you? I see you chipping away at the achievements on TA. How far are you going to take it? :O

I haven't had a chance to try the Genesis yet seeing as how I currently have no games for it. However, I bought a copy of Contra Hard Corps off of e-bay, so I should be getting that soon. I was able to get the game, box, and instruction booklet all in great condition for under $20. I consider that a steal. Smile I am excited to get my hands on it. It is probably one of my favorite Genesis games of all time, and I have not played it since I was probably 10 or 11 years old, heh.

I was originally going for the Enlightened Guitarist achievement, but I have some reservations about putting so much energy into it. Mostly the fact that since it was previously glitched, a lot of people have it that should NOT have it. If you check TA.com, you can easily see that way more people have Enlightened Guitarist achievement than have even completed the expert career! That is ridiculous. I don't like cheaters. I am actually working on the Big 'Ol Pile of Wins achievement. I am slowly chipping away at it a few matches every morning.

I will definitely come up to CyberOps this weekend. Sounds like a good time. I will talk to RyuBlitz and see if he is planning on going or wants to go. Also, do you have a couple of controllers to go with the Genesis?

I have a game I would like you to review as a part of yout Under Appreciated/Under the Radar series. Brigandine: The Legend of Forsena. You may have heard of it. It is strategy RPG developed by Atlus for the PS1.

This is by far THE single most under appreciated game ever created. I have put more hours into this game than any other game I have played in my entire life. The lasting appeal and replay value are absolutely outrageous.

The game is based around a continent of six countries at war. You assume the role of one country and attempt to capture all of the continent, one battle at a time. You have many, many knights at your disposal each of which can control up to six creatures. Each battle is based off a hexagonal grid which makes the number of strategies to implement in each fight basically infinite. I could go on describing the game, but I couldn't do it justice.

Despite how creative, unique, and interesting this game is, it gets peppered by crappy reviews by crappy people who whine about graphics and who don't want to spend the time getting into a game that actually makes you think.

You must try this game, if you have not already. I promise you won't be disappointed.

You bet! We're actually pretty excited for the game's release. I don't know whether to have a guitar-only tourney right after its release, or wait a little bit so people can get a little more used to the songs.

Also, I'd like to have some sort of "team" competition with a full-band, or maybe everything BUT singer because I know people have a hard time coming up with a singer.

I don't know whether to make the team competition a separate affair or host it on the same day. I could run it two ways - pay a separate entry for the team and have its own pot, or randomly put three-four people together from the singles and have a bragging-rights-only winner.
