By that I mean I am waiting here with nothing to do while Ben, Zach, and 4 other guys play in DLC Big Team Battle. Being the poor/cheap man I am, I am the only one that never has the DLC, so I am pretty much the party-killer of the group.
While I wait, I figured I should get started on chronicle #27 in my 100 chronicle mission.
Halo 3 multiplayer is something that just doesn't hold my interest. I don't know if it's the fact that I have gone through my "FPS phase", or if constant defeat prevents me from enjoying the game as much as would if I was as good as some of these people we have at the GoG nights. Nonetheless, this game is still entertaining, but I will probably never play it without friends. The reason for that is simple - I hate having virtual testicles shoved down my throat.
Teabagging is the one thing I absolutely can't stand about playing with people on LIVE. In an attempt to emphasize that I just got "pwned" and am a "noob", these guys will occasionally get right over my body, and press the crouch button repeatedly to ensure I know it. Well Mr. Teabagger, the joke's on you. I obviously have a vizor over my face, and you have what I assume is a full inch of armor over your junk. I don't know about you, but I don't think it's possible to drop trough, remove my helmet and put your junk in my mouth in the 2 seconds you spend hovering over my rotting corpse. That's another thing - my mouth is going to be firmly locked in place, thanks to me being dead and all. All the while, a firefight is never far away, and I can only hope that a stray plasma lands right on your head.
Yeah, that was my attempt at humor while I sit here waiting to be killed more.
I'm not at all trying to bash Halo 3, or First Person Shooters in general, but some of the antics people pull get on my nerves.
