Player Chronicle -- Posted on Jun 26 2008
Just want everyone to know, I just successfully played my first custom Guitar Hero song! AEnima by Tool was what I used to test out the entire process, and it worked like a charm
I'll be working on a few other projects for this in the near future. I plan on porting Guitar Hero 1 to the GH2 engine, as well as making a GH: Megadeth. There will of course, be headaches and anger during this process, but it should all be worth it in the end.

Posted On Jul 02 2008Woot, welcome to the best way to play GH! I remember when I got my first song working. Ironically, it was Thru the Fire & Flames (loooong before it was announced for GH3.)
Getting this far is quite an accomplishment, gratz! -

Posted On Jun 27 2008Can you do some Mars Volta or Killers songs for the GoG/SH/Cyber Ops event? I'd love it! haha

Posted On Jun 27 2008Uh Oh... Dynafire's got customs!!! *ducks for cover*
Great to hear that you got it working. I was going to recommend that you check out Leff's Metallica Hero setup, but it looks like he was just hired by Neversoft (and therefore, charts go bye-bye). Oh well...
What software are you using for the process? It's come a long way since I last tried, which was way before feedback even came out. Nonetheless, if you need any advice, troubleshooting, or a shoulder to cry on, just let me know.
