A Winner Is You! (us, actually)
Player Chronicle -- Posted on Jun 23 2008
This past weekend, there was a pretty big LAN party called Fragfinity that was held in Tiffin. There was going to be a Rock Band Tournament, so Zmaine and his friends Braden and Grant joined us. Long story short, we won it. There were only a few bands there, but a win is a win. We each received a $20 gift card to Video Games Etc for 1st place. Not too shabby.
We played a grand total of six songs, I believe, none of which were too hard, except for the last one - Green Grass and High Tides. We utterly destroyed that song. Our drummer, Braden got close to an 1100 note streak , and Grant, our bassist, hit 97%. ZMaine I believe hit 97% on vocals, and I hit 95% on guitar. The final score was roughly 2,500,000.
There were more games there besides Rock Band. CoD4, The Orange Box, SSBM, etc. were all present, and there were tournaments for each of them. We all had a pretty good time. There is supposed to be another one of these this winter, so some of you eastern/central Iowans should come hang out! Check out www.fragfinity.com for details when they start to plan the next event.

Posted On Jun 23 2008Damn! Too bad I couldn't get the time off to be the bassist. I will next time though. Best Buy can't hold back this beast any longer. Prepare for my time off requests!!!
