Player Chronicle -- Posted on Jun 06 2008

This will probably be my shortest chronicle ever. Basically, I went and got a tooth pulled out yesterday. The tooth in question had been giving me extreme pain (the worst pain I've ever felt in my life) on occasion for the last 2-2 1/2 years. I admit, I don't have the best oral hygeine habits; I brush and floss at least once a day, but rarely do I remember to do it more often - thus, the tooth developed a cavity, which kept eating away at it. I finally went and saw a dentist in February who said I had one of two options: root canal or extraction. I opted for extraction, as I hear root canals may not be 100% effective, and are fairly painful (and expensive). So now I have a nice little hole in my mouth. (which isn't really noticeable, thankfully.)

I guess this is kind of gaming related since that's all I could do for about 9 hours after I got home. It's doing better now, (the bleeding stopped - It's just a little sore) and all that's left is to go back and get a bridge in September. Take care of your teeth, people!!!

With the copious amount of diet sodas I pour down my gullet every day (to maintain my twenty-hour workdays!), my dentist told me it's like giving my teeth an acid bath for several hours a day. Even with the diet stuff I brush more often than I used to because I don't want 'em to get soft.

Ha ha, well I had my wisdom teeth awhile back and my holes have not closed since. I still get snack chips stuck in there and they cause bleeding. Ouch!

I brush twice a day and I'm pretty sure that doing it before bed is KEY, but hey...at least it wasn't one of your front teeth Very Happy
