1. Finally finished the campaign in Perfect Dark Zero

   Here's another quick chronicle. I never got around to finishing the campaign in Perfect Dark Zero, mainly because I got to one part that I thought was impossible to beat. Once I got back to it though, things sort of fell into place and I was able to proceed in the game.
   
   I have to say, that this game has one of the most climactic final encounters in any game I've played. The second to last stage has you traversing a huge bridge with hordes of bad guys that will destroy you. Even on the normal difficulty, these guys were tough. I must have died about a dozen times before finally getting to the last stage.
   
   The last stage is a true boss fight, where he'll jump from platform to platform, shoot stuff at you, throw stuff at you, then eventually come in close and try to shank you. This fight was actually really, really easy. The environment is really cool though. He uses his godlike powers to raise huge chunks of an ancient coliseum (like the one in Rome) into the sky, and that's where you fight him. It's a very surreal setting, which seems awesome when you're going through more realistic environments during the course of the normal campaign.
   
   All in all, I'm surprised by how much I liked the game. Even though it is kind of tough in areas (frustrating would be a fitting description too) and the controls feel just a little stiff, check out the game if you can. You can get it for less than $10 at GameStop

   Very nice game review here as well. Those older games are hard to cover sometimes, but you've made me want to start looking into some retro flavored systems.
   
   Anyways, this second completed game represents 2 out of how many more left?
