Yesterday night featured two things happening. One was the 10th episode of GoGcast, which also wrapped up the 1st season of the show. We should be back up and running with it sometime within the the next month or so. I can't say for sure because it really isn't up to me. In the meantime, anyone participating in the podcast regularly can use this hiatus to upgrade microphones to get better voice quality and clarity. Again, I recommend the Rock Band microphone. You can get them for $10 used at GameStop. Someone suggested the PS2 headset as well.

The second thing that happened yesterday was GoG Game Night. The featured game was Left 4 Dead.

I was joined at 7PM by GrifEagle, JackDaniels624, and GVirus05 for some zombie-slaying. This is definitely one of the more fun game nights I've been a part of. There was plenty of fun banter to go around, and it usually led to one of us not paying attention and getting incapacitated and killed.

We were playing on advanced, which probably wasn't the best idea considering I've only had the game for 3 days. It actually wasn't that bad up until the final stage of No Mercy. On top of the hospital, we made our final stand...and failed about 8 times. There was one time where it looked like we were going to complete the mission, only to have both of the final survivors get immediately nabbed by a hunter and smoker after leaving the "mostly safe" room. Subsequent attempts were met with varying degrees of success, though none resulted in completion of the mission.

This game is still a lot of fun though, and I'd really like to make it a regular title for GoG game night.

Yeah, I wish I could have joined GGN and some Left 4 Dead, but Zach and I were meeting about development and the GoGcast was awesome, so no complaints!

You also failed to mention these new GoG Template Designs that were mentioned during the podcast, then Zach and I got inspired to put things online THE SAME NIGHT, haha.

Just so you know, this pink profile design was inspired by us wanting to surprise you and make yours the first pink GoG profile Laughing

Yesterday WAS a great day for GoG and look for the official announcement about these new profile template options later today...
