Yesterday's Haul
Player Chronicle -- Posted on Nov 23 2008
Yesterday seemed like a good day to cash in some of the change I've accumulated this year and go on a little guilt-free spending spree. Surprisingly, one container full of change got me a whopping $130 of disposable income. (I still have another full container, so this is going to be a merry Christmas indeed.)
My journey lasted 3 hours and got me some pretty good deals. The best thing in the bunch was Diddy Kong Racing. I ended up getting it for $4, compared to the $15-20 it usually hits online. On top of that, I got a 2nd guitar for the 360. I've always been a little concerned about the quality of Xplorer controllers, but that guitar is actually pretty good. I also got a microphone to finish out a full set of instruments, so there should be no more fake instrument purchases for a while.
Another interesting thing I came across was one of those weird, non-licensed Nintendo games, called Pyramid. I didn't really want it, but it was only $3.
Other stuff:
Silent Hill 2
Xenosaga Ep. 1 & 2
some Atari 2600 games
Jurassic Park for the SNES (it's actually a pretty good game)
