Castle Crashers CAN be playable online
Player Chronicle -- Posted on Oct 13 2008
This weekend, I played Castle Crashers online with Kupo Cakes and Looshkin, and it worked flawlessly. When I say flawlessly, I mean just that. There was never even an indication of lag present, no disconnects (except for another one of their friends )and it was by far the funnest time I've had with the game.
A lot of you that have the game are probably aware of the online issues, and there is a title update in the works that will supposedly fix it. I have been paying close attention to any developer updates on this update, and they are just getting it into the verification process (which will probably take another few weeks). In the CC forums, I had seen a moderator saying "hopefully by the end of the year" in reference to when the update would be ready. Hopefully though, we'll have this update soon. Possibly by the end of the month if everything works as intended.

Posted On Oct 13 2008It sounds like things have already been enhanced, but it may have just been a strong connection with you and California
I had a CC game request from Kupo and Loosh yesterday to join you guys, but I was in a heated party for Halo 3 and couldn't rip myself away?!
Next time for sure...
