Video Games are an art. No video game (..to a point) is a bad one, as long as its fun.

This is my belief. I am a gamer. I will play anything you put in my hands and believe me, I WILL, have fun with it. I might not become the best at it, but I'll definately respect the game for who it is. A piece of art. Because all video games are art. All video games are made by people whom sit at their offices, for years and months developing something for us to consume. And even if the type of game is not for me, i understand that someone in the world out there will enjoy it. It will stimulate them mentally, and give them the feeling of "fun"..and that should be enough for all of us.

To me Video games are one of the most powerful things we have in todays world. Through bad times, economic woes, family problems, etc, video games have the power to do something so beautiful most of us don't even realize it. Do you know what it is?

Smile. Laugh. Have Fun.
And that is true beauty! The ability to click something in our brains. to tell us to calm down and to focus on just saving reach, instead of our problems with our fiance, that is true beauty.

Video games have so much more to them than "mindless violence" They show us a world that, though it doesnt exist, shelters us, for those few hours, from our real world. Video games give us a world where WE are the hero. where WE are the one people depend on. Though its ignorant to believe that world really exists, to indulge ourselves into a story we REALLY have no effect on.. Ignorance is bliss, and only video games can take us to a place no movie, no book, and no other form of entertainment can.
