   Well, my XBL Gold Membership runs out today. Not sure when. I don't have the money to get even three months of Gold. Lame I know. I really wish people wouldn't have to pay for this membership. Sure it's amazing and you can meet some cool people, but seriously. Some people paid a lot of money for the console itself. I know the 200 dollars that my uncle spent wasn't something that we exactly had at the time (and we still don't have that much money to spend freely). I was lucky to even get an Xbox, much less the one year that I just had. One may have the money for a 1 month (7.99USD), or maybe even a 3 month (19.99USD), but the full year, the jackpot, is but a dream away for me (49.99USD).
   
   Lets say that you bought a 1 month membership every month. That totals out to be 95.88USD. Say you did the same thing with a 3 month membership. That totals to be 239.88USD. This is in a full year guys. I know the 49.99USD for a full year is a good deal, but some people just don't have it. You may think that you're spending less by buying a 3 month membership every three months, but you're really not; and even thinking about that with the 1 month membership is just stupid.
   
   So, to Microsoft, with all the money that you're making (not including bundles), an Elite version is 299.99USD, and the Arcade is 199.99USD, don't you think you can lower the prices of the full year membership? Remember, that's not including the bundles that you are selling as well.
   
   A Final Fantasy XIII bundle is 399.99USD and the 360 Elite with Halo 3: ODST and Forza Motorsport 3 is 299.99USD. So please, bring down the prices of the year membership or at least make a contest to where we can win a few for free. I never see those from Microsoft themselves.

   I don't think the playstation network is as bad as everyone thinks it is. I have had a ps3 long before I had an xbox and I never had a problem with there online service. If you have a mic you can talk to your friends in all games. As far as the paying for onlineplay I think that is because we allow the companies to take advange of us. How much is too much is what we should be asking? Would you pay 100 dollars a year to play online, how about two? Would you pay 50 dollars for downloads? When will we as games put our foot down? I guess if you pay for something it worth more.

   I look at the free model that PSN uses and realizing how shoty that online network works for the PS3, I actually agree with a paid model.
   
   I realize they make too much money with it, but hopefully they're also using this money to continue advancing Xbox Live, ya know?

   Not to be a jerk, but a year of 3-month memberships is $79.96, not $239.88.
   
   Also, if money is an issue for you, you need to bookmark www.cheapassgamer.com. There is ALWAYS some kind of deal on anything you could possibly want. Right now, you can pick up 1 year Xbox Live subs for $35 at a couple places, and Amazon is selling MS points at about 15% off. Using that site, I have not paid more than $40 for a new title in over a year.

   DR;TL But btw look at ps3 it is terrible and they get it for free. Some games you cant even talk to your friends. idk just look at this way if you didnt pay they wouldn't put any money into and fix things. and junk. i dont like how much you pay. but ill pay it lol.
