Player Chronicle -- Posted on Dec 04 2008

For those interested in the HISTORY of Video Arcade Games in the U.S., this recently updated web page - http://www.gamerefuge.com/alongtheway.html - takes a look back at the very early days of Video Game Development; going all the way back to SATAN'S HOLLOW. (1981?) This particular History only mentions games from Chicago area manufacturers, but it includes comments from the designer(s), which sheds a bit more light on the whole game development process.

Yeah, ...I've been remiss in my GOG-ing over the summer months.
But there's snow on the ground again here in Chicago, so I'll be in front of the computer in my off hours again. Wink

Doing lots n lots o' games for the new PLAYPORTT system these days... should start seeing them in Buffalo Wild Wings and Red Robin restaurants throughout the country this January. Once they've been officially released, I'll post info about them in greater detail.

Wow, that's an impressive list! I'll definitely be reading through that later.

I agree with Dynafire, it's great to see you back in action around here! When I saw the Rampage photo attached to the Chronicle, I was wondering if it was you Very Happy

Anyways, thanks for the link. I took a look at it and the rest of your updated website. Looks like things are still moving well over there and we'd still love to connect your development with some visibility here, so keep that in mind and like Dynafire also said, we'd love to hear more from you about upcoming projects!

Glad to see you're still around, I haven't heard much from you for a while! Got any new games in development that we can look forward to?

I haven't actually read the article yet, but will do so once I get home. I love reading about this kind of stuff.
