I do so love my gold stars.

Saturday night I had nothing going on, so I popped in Rock Band in preparation for Rock Band 2 on Sunday. I mostly played around with the drums, which I am somehow getting much better at, even though I hardly play them. Later on I switched to guitar and went on a killer streak of song domination.
I finally got gold stars on Brainpower. This was truly epic, as the gold stars popped up at the very end of the last hold. You can't cut it any closer, folks.
This leaves only Run to the Hills and Seven (lol) as the last songs I have to get gold stars on.
I was feeling pretty confident after getting the gs on Brainpower (never thought I'd do it - the ascending triplets destroy me), so I tried Shockwave. What do you know? I gold starred it. I'm kind of annoyed that I didn't get this run on video, because I had 96 or 97% on the second solo.
So being further pumped up, I decided to try to up my score on Thrasher to something respectable. It had been sitting at like 70k or so, and only 3 stars - play it and you'll understand why. Anyway, I got into 4 star range on my first run, with roughly 95k.
Just thought I'd share that.

RyuBlitz: I just went at the trips using my normal play style, but only really concentrating on hitting the first four sets. It seemed to work out all right.
