  1. Dynafire Sears is tormenting me

Player Chronicle -- Posted on Sep 13 2008

Well, I did it. I finally took the dive and bought myself a 32" LCD HDTV to further enhance my gaming experience. However, Sears seems to be having a blast by making me wait for it.

I had went into the store and ordered it on Friday, September 5th. The guy said it should be in the store on Friday, September 12th. I didn't have a problem with that. I wouldn't have much time to mess with it during the week anyway, so Friday was good. All day Friday I was looking forward to picking up my new TV and sitting down for a marathon session of gaming for the weekend, but alas, my dreams were shattered. Apparently this model of TV is fairly popular, and it is on back-order. They said that it should be in on Wednesday. >_<

I wouldn't be so annoyed if I wouldn't have made the trip to the store, expecting my $700 purchase to be there when they said it would. It would have been nice to get a call saying that it would be delayed. Oh wait, I did get a call - today, as a matter of fact. That call would have been useful yesterday. Hopefully there aren't any more delays, and I can start HD gaming on Wednesday.

Glad to see you made the jump! Smile My advice:
    1) Crank the resolution as high as you reasonably can. You'll appreciate it. Wink
    2) Take great care when calibrating for GH/RB. Repeat the calibrating A LOT, so you can get a good feel for the average offset.

Yes, I know you probably already know these things... But I might as well remind you. :p
