Whilst constructing a kingdom for Keflings last night with RyuBlitz, he asked me if I was on www.Trueachievements.com. I wasn't, but had heard about it before. I got signed up about two minutes later, and I have to say, I really want to get more achievements now.

Basically, Trueachievements.com gives you an adjusted gamerscore based off of your achievements. This is based mostly on how many people have it, and possibly on how difficult it's been rated to get. This means that your typical 5G achievement could be worth hundreds of points in the right circumstances. Take the "Guitar Hero" achievement (5 star expert career) on GH3 for example. It's worth 75G in the game, but worth a whopping 400 something points on TA, because of its difficulty. Not all achievements are like this though. A lot of the easier ones are worth the same as they are in-game, and while I haven't seen any myself, I'm told that there are some that are worth less.

You can also sort your achievements by game, by point value, date achieved, etc. There's no point to it other than to show off your adjusted gamerscore, but it definitely adds some incentive to get more achievements. You can also have a friends list, and can use it to compete with friends if you want to.

Give the site a try if you have time. All you need to register is your gamertag and a valid email address. (Obviously, if you use the email address associated with your gamercard, you shouldn't use the same password.)
