  1. Ironman Vibras Five.One - Headset Review

    When I saw the Vibras Five.One Headset online, I was skeptical at first. I was also skeptical when they arrived at my house, but when I picked them up and put them on...that skepticism all went away.

    I have big ears and I usually use the Turtle Beach HPX's so my ears usually get really hot, but with these, it's not an over the ear headset which I liked a lot. I've never used a sennheiser headset unfortunately, but I was told these actually have the same speakers.

    Sound - Something I noticed right away, was footsteps! With the HPX's and Astro headsets, I didn't usually hear this, but with these I could hear them just fine. The decoder box was real handy. With it, I could adjust the sub speaker and the center speaker. The voice volume could also be balanced with the voice amplifier.

    This decoder box was 10x better then the Astro Mixamp, its just to bad I couldn't use it with my Turtle Beach's.

    The clarity of the headset was just amazing. There are 2 speakers in each speaker cup and adding that to the comfort; I would definitely use this headset over any others I own right now.

    Another good thing about this headset is you can take off the mic and just use the headphones. Yesterday night I was actually using the headset to lie in bed and watch a show.

    All in all, I definitely rate the headset 9.0/10

    Pros
    - Comfortable
    - Decoder Box
    - The speakers in each cup
    - Free optical cable

    Cons
    -Can't use VGA cables with the Decoder Box
    -A lot of wires, but manageable
    -The voice amplifier requires 2 AAA batteries

    This product review makes me even more excited about the VIBRAS demo pair I'm receiving from Track Scan this week!
