Posted On May 14 2008Okami has my full attention right now. (Chronicle "coming soon" hopefully - there's just so much to play through, and I want to have a good handle on the game before I write up a review.)
I love nearly anything Mario, so Mario Kart, SSBB, Super Mario Galaxy and Super Paper Mario are all highly placed in my personal list.
I also think the Wii version of Resident Evil 4 is the best version of that game for any console. Metroid Prime 3 is fantastic. These are the types of games that reward you for patience and playing it through. Some of the more casual Mario titles are more instant gratification.
Uh, and I'm not ashamed to admit I like Cooking Mama!
Wii Sports is a great way to introduce the controls to newbies, but that said, bowling is still insanely fun! -

Posted On May 13 2008Yeah, Mario Kart and Mario Galaxy would be towards the top of my list for sure! Although I know how big Smash Bros. is, I'm not a huge fan. I recognize some of the others on your list, but can't say that I've played many of them!?
Naturally, Wii Sports would be on there for me too, since I feel like this was the game that changed it all for Nintendo and the way we think about interactive console gaming...
