Caution: This deceptively simple game is digitized crack cocain. My step son introduced me to this game, insistant that i try it, but i was drawing and didnt really have time to check this out, but i said i'd fool around with it for a few minutes to appease him. FIVE HOURS LATER im finally on the last level of this game, wondering where the last five hours of my life went. I never did beat that level, but this game was crazy addicting and fun, and quite the brain teaser.
It has some RPG elements (for lack of a better term) in the sense that you can choose to build your bridge, or just portions of it, out of either wood or steel, and you also have to stay within your alotted budget. Yes, thats right, youre started out with a certain amount of cash to build your bridge and you cannot exceed your budget.
So this game has the "slot machine" mentality that even though i screwed this bridge up, the next time will be different, i'll get it next time cuz now i know what i did wrong and i can fix it this time. And the game will have you operating under this sad delusion for hours and hours. And that unconcious loss of time is one of the things that makes a game great. so definetley give this one a try. Or don't, i don't want to be your enabler.
