Wii Fit and me

I need to get in shape. I've been meaning to for quite awhile and have made vaious sporadic attempts to get the ball rolling but never got the gumption. Well, all thats changed now and i feel like i have the necessary motivation to do the hard work required.
But how does a gamer get in shape? Why, with Wii Fit of course. Now i know alot of ppl would consider this game/periphery the bane of the video game industry, as did i at one point, but i have recently had a change of heart. Mostly since i began racking my brain for the means to the end with which i would accomplish the task that lay before me. Sure theres a gym on campus, but when do i have the time to go to the gym. Then it hit me, my sister has a Wii Fit that she never uses, why not give that a try? so i did.
I used it for the first time not 30 minutes ago and found the entire experience very satisfing. Now granted, from what i've heard most ppl never use this set-up for more than a month, but this, like all things, simply requires the right motivation. So heres to belated new Years resolutions, and i guess ill keep interested parties updated as to the effectivness of Wii Fit and my own progress as well. Happy Gaming fellow GoG folks.
