  1. Wolvatron Sleeping well? I'm not.

Player Chronicle -- Posted on Aug 07 2009

12:30 AM - Eyes burn, hardly awake. Head to bed.
1:30 AM - Still awake. Comfortable, but not falling asleep.
    2:30 AM - Finally. Sleeping.
4:30 - Wake up, toss around for 30 minutes. Back to sleep.
6:30 AM - Waking up an hour before the alarm sucks.
7:30 AM - Alarm goes off. Exhausted. Too tired to get up. Hit snooze 10 bajillion times.
8:30 AM - Finally roll out of bed to get to work at 9.

    Every.

    Freakin'.

    Night.

It's been this way for about 2 weeks now. Nothing has changed, there's no nightmares, no critters scaring me in my dreams, no real change in diet, no extreme amounts of caffeine during the day, just same ol'. Yet I can't sleep.

First Chronicle written, and it sounds more whiny than anything else. My apologies. But I am open to suggestions that do not include drugs. Smile

Yeah, alcohol is the first thing that comes to mind, but that's not good advice, haha.

Maybe some exercise will give your body a chance to expend energy and relieve stress...which may make you tired and sleepy when the lights go out?

I'm definitely not a doctor, but I also know there are sleep-helping organizations out there that may be able to help. We do websites for a few here in town, so let me know if you want to take it to that next level.

    Sweet Dreams...

Well, there's two things I can think of. The first being the place your sleeping (assuming it's a bed) is uncomfortable. And in that case, I suggest a new mattress.

The other thing I know that can negatively affect ones sleep is stress. That's a bit more difficult to manage though...
