Ok, only been playing this an hour or two, and I can honestly say, this game is a steaming pile. Not horrible, but definitely bad. The first one was much better than this.
First off, there is no difficulty control that I've found. And you're thrown into battle and quickly find out that the game favors the NPC from the get go. They make huge combos more often than you, the attack tiles show up in their favor more often, plus the shield boosting tiles.
Second, you travel through multiple galaxies through "Leapgates". And conveniently enough, they're all down. There's ALOT of them, and each one you have to "hack" which starts a timed, solo matching game. With easy having a multiple of 10 tiles matches to do based on the color shown, in order, you usually end up losing and having to choose the option to restart. Not enough time given (though there are time tiles you can match to add time) for the most part, but combos seem to happen more frequently as you progress through the ordered list. The only thing about combos is that you can't act while it's doing so, and the timer doesn't stop. You sit and wait and hope for the tile matches you need, and for it to stop before too long.
Third and final, the loading times. Everything you do pretty much resorts in loading time. Several seconds long. Going into your menu? Loading time. Hitting up the shop or crafting? Loading time. Warping to another galaxy? Loading time.
Final consensus, steer clear unless you really, REALLY enjoyed the first one and wish to play through this. This'll teach you patience and test your anger management skills.
