Player Chronicle -- Posted on Apr 08 2009

Well, many upon many things happened today that reminded me of thee long fergutton days of ol' and figured, hey! I got a keyboard in front of me, and I do like pushing buttons (omg I've been saying that since I've learned to talk and loved to push the button in elevators Shocked ), so hey I'll type up a chronny.

Bomberman...Such great memories of being a stupid little kid playing late into the night (lol...I think we thought midnight was the equivilent to staying up to 3 on a school night). When we kicked that little computer AI's pixelated ass we would yell (until we got yelled at teeheehee) DEEP DEEP TROUBLEEEE! Which we got from a CD of Simpson's songs (I believe all were original and never shown on TV) that my aunt (rest in piece) gave my brother. I got a karate game for the Nintendo Wink .

Dig-Dug 2...Ahh I, no we, would play before I had to go to swimming lessons. Sure we used Game Genie most of the time, but I got pretty good! Not the best, I'm much less stupid today, but I did have some pretty epic fish sniping skills Laughing

Mortal Kombat 2&3-Never really did own the game unti , but we did have the action figures, and my brothers and I suppose mine as well friend owned it. The action figures have much better memories since we mixed them with Star Wars, and GI Joe characters and had tournaments with "finishers" which were basically throwing them high up into the air, off the deck, and into an inflatable pool Laughing ...Great times...I remember one time my cousin came down for a week or two and he threw Raiden (my personal fav at the time simply because I was told he couldn't die lol) up into the air while waiting for my brother to finish his swimming lessons, came crashing down onto the green pavement and his hat fell off. Didn't get mad I actually thought it was cool! Good times...

Street Fighter 2-Hahahahaha...Man we played this game a lot! I still remember nailing the first HADOUKEN!!! and ever since my life changed! It only took one and now I am truly a master...Of course that was around the time when we stopped playing it, but still for those weeks after I sucked a little bit less! Now when I think about it only my brothers friend was really good at any games at his age...Anyway I remember we would have actual Street Fighter fights and my brother liked Vega so he got pencis to use as claws and scratched his friend up lol...Then later he did this little fast karate chopping action on my friends head and made him go home crying Laughing ...I still remember the look on his face while it was happening...classic...

That's just a taste of my gaming memories that I almost thought I forgot...then I remembered it was just my personality I can't remember Laughing . I thank you GoG, weather you read it or not, I still appreciated the experience! If I wore hats I'd tip them to you!

Well, it wasn't all games that brought back the memories, but most of the memories brought back were from games!

I also enjoy it when a game pops up into a conversation and it sparks a fun memory from my childhood. Fuji Golf has done that most recently Laughing
