Setting Up For Microsoft Tech-Ed 2008

With our gear shipped to the Orange County Convention Center and the Jet Set Studio team arriving in Orlando on the Monday before Microsoft Tech-Ed 2008, we were ready to get the party started!
We enjoyed an early lunch, to meet some of the other Brocade team members and then headed over to get our video gaming element rocking. The majority of the incredible Brocade booth had already been setup and it was waiting for the finishing touches...The GoG
As we setup, planned, and polished our approach for the week, we had two gaming stations ready to rock and were ready for the crowds that you could just tell would be coming to this booth!
Our structure was simple and sweet...we'd be playing one song for both a medium and expert division each day. Participants could choose to play the song of their choice, but if they wanted to compete for the big time prizes, they had to choose the song of the day. The top performance EACH DAY, would receive the upcoming Guitar Hero: Aerosmith game for the medium division, while the top scoring expert would take home a brand new Xbox 360!
Do the math, haha, we're going to give away 4 brand new, soon to be released, video games AND 4 brand new Xbox 360...not to mention the free Brocade shirts, very cool gamer chairs that Brocade raffled off during each presentation that ran every hour, 1GB flash drives, some of our own GoG Gear, and the grand prize of a real guitar signed by the face of Guitar Hero 3...Slash!
This WILL be the best partnering booth at this week's event and we hope to bring the party, while also establishing the unique visibility that only Jet Set Studio can bring

Posted On Jun 12 2008As I came up that escalator for the first time (see photo), I was so excited to put on the show of a lifetime at the biggest convention center I had ever seen!
I could just feel that this was going to BIG...
