   well, i have something to say about WoW.
   
   
   
   i bought the game at the beginning of this last summer in hopes to become hopelessly addicted. i needed a crackbased game that could eliminate my post-college summer boredom.
   
   
   
   it turned out to be alot of fun. granted, there were times that i played a little past reasonable but overall it was a great passtime and pretty fun. people that have issues with it have issues themselves, its just not that hard to enjoy it without abusing it.
   
   
   
   so, with that huge stereotype addressed, it is important that i discuss the sad, terrible truth of this game.
   
   
   
   its.only.fun.sometimes.
   
   
   
   i know the feeling of leveling up. i also know how it feels to get new, more powerful spells. i am familiar with how good it is to kickass in an area that used to kick yours. but see... as i walk across the continent of Azeroth, on some do-it-cause-you-gotta quest, i realize something.
   
   
   
   im bored.
   
   
   
   theres just too much walking. too much waiting. i mean i find myself talking on the phone while i kil monsters over and over so that it wont drive me insane. but the REAL issue awaits.
   
   
   
   this.game.requires.no.acquired.skills.
   
   
   
   whats the best part of super smash brothers? getting better. getting best. and then kicking the shit out of your friends.
   
   
   
   there is such a small skill factor in this game. sure, you get quicker at casting ur spells and more knowledgable of places and trends.. maybe you'll even figure out what the hell people are talking about when they say things like "LFM SM +1 BTW " i know i do.
   
   
   
   yes, there is a quick factor when you reach lvl 70 and are pitched against others.. but on that long journey to level 70 (which for most normal people takes a year or so) you do nothing but things that everyone else can do. you do not get better, you just get more familiar with shortcuts to the next level.
   
   
   
   this is the problem.
   
   
   
   but please, understand this. i still love this game. sure, it can be boring and timeconsuming at times... but when you have that moment of drama with someone or that level is accomplished that youve been waiting weeks for... or when you finaly earn the right to ride a robot chicken around, or when some higher level person runs you through a difficult dungeon and get you loot that you dont necessarily deserve....something clicks.
   
   
   
   so, i will continue playing. i only get to once a week now that im at school but i will play. and i will get to 70. and i will feel good when i do because i will sell my character for 200 dollars.

   I've never tried the MMORPG games because I value my relationship with my GF. So very tempting though....
   
   After reading this I can't help but wander, what fun is the game for the guy who buys the character for $200?

   I'm going to have to agree with Ben. I liked this chronicle a lot. I find the same things are true when I play the game. Actually, as far as getting to level 70 goes, I talked to someone who got to 70 in THREE DAYS!!!!! WHAT?!? haha well i hope to see you soon. like new years.

   haha...I love it. Your humor mixed with fact is a great way to describe this game and your experiences so far. I'm sure there's been alot of other reviews on this WoW phenomenon, but I'm convinced you've done one of the best jobs
