The dedicated Gears of War players all have awaited the announcement of Gears 3, which is now set to be released in early April.
With high expectations of the new sure to be hit game, there are some things that I believe the majority of competitive Gears fans would like to see. Here is a list of the top 3 fixes...
- Get it right the first time. Making extreme multiplayer changes after the release date changes competitive game play too much. The current major changes are: different weapon damages, different ammo levels and ineffective smoke grenades
- Better balanced maps. The current maps have what competitive players call “good side” and “bad side” and starting sides can greatly affect ability to win on maps.
- Host advantage. We would love to see less of a host advantage. Especially online. Many times host is blatantly obvious and can throw the game off balance.
Many competitive gamers are excited for this title, so take this extra time in development to really impress us with Gears of War 3
