Phantasy Star Universe

I've been playing Phantasy Star online on the gamecube for a while now and a lil while back picked up Phantasy Star Universe and started playing that online. It's a beautiful game with wonderful graphics and amazing images. It was well constructed and planned out. Every character class is well-balanced! There are quite a few classes to choose from in combination with the 4 races you may choose from! But by far the most impressive and awe inspiring feature of this game is the character editing and creation system. Though not as crazy as Heros and Villains system, it gives you a wide array of eyes, eyelashes, ears, skin colors, hairstyles, and facial styles right from the start! The clothing you can start with is limited, but there are clothing shops in each of the four cities that you cna visit! Each selling it's own special line! There is a very wide array of weapons as well. Not only in types, but also in level. No matter how high you level there will always be a weapon for you to use! And when you get to some of the higher levels, you can find A and S rank weapons and armor which have special features when compared to other weapons! These weapons can also be connect to PAs or Photon Arts which may be linked to your normal attacks to cause increased damage, your bullets to cause elemental damage to those creatures of an opposing element, and to cast spells such as a fire ball or surrounding yourself in a cage of lightning to knock back enemies!! Theres a wide variety of missions for people to do. Some require a partym some do not, some have special side roads for those with a party of a specific number or more. Although the game may seem to be repetitive at first, it's the same as all MMORPGs. There are runs for leveling, but there is also an online story mode that comes after the main story of the offline game! Theres something for everyone in this game and I think if nothing else, try out the offline Story and Extra modes of this game!! It's well worth the expense. The online subscription is only 10$ a month for PC/PS2 and for 360 all you have to have is Xbox live!! Please come join me in the world of PSU!!
