Player Chronicle -- Posted on Jan 03 2010

In the modern world playing with other players around the world is as simple and easy. But 15 years it was impossible and flat out outrageous to think that you could be in Iowa and be playing with someone in England! That is how far we have come in technology since the very first game Tennis for Two. Tennis for two was first introduced on October 18, 1958. Some might disagree and say that pong was the vary first video game but in truth a lab created this game and at one of the Lab’s annual visitors’ days. Two people played the electronic tennis game with separate controllers that connected to an analog computer and used an oscilloscope for a screen. The game’s creator, William Higinbotham, was a nuclear physicist who had worked on the Manhattan Project. It was then copied and turned into the now classic game we now call pong after pong came out that was the start of the gaming evolution. now we have games like MW2 and Guitar Hero. Ninja

The whole LAN thing isn't to epic, since the people are all in the same building, but still awesome for tournaments, the real stuff is in online. Online is the heart of gaming for some people, BEN would go crazy with no multiplayer Wink
