Texas A&M Commerce threw a serious bash today, lasting from 3pm to 2am. It was the first big shindig i have ever been to (regarding games and such) and i had a blast! It started off slow cuz i didn't really know anybody, but i eventually loosened up and started to get some serious gaming on.

The first thing i did was sit down and spend about 45 minutes to an hour filling out the flyers that i got, which i passed out with noticable gusto. Hey i'm a procrastinator, don't judge me. lolz

Then i signed up for several tournements, which i was reluctant to do at first due to lack of experience, but i figured what-the-hell. I'm there, why not play a few games, right.? I signed up for the Halo3 free-for-all, the Soul Caliber tourny, and the Super Smash bros. tourney. And of course i bombed on all three! LOL but i had some serious fun. (serious fun?)

I spent the rest of the night wandering the floor taking pictures and randomly playing games, and of course resisting the urge to ask ppl if i can play their WoW. ( i still got it bad. *shakes*) I also got my first glimpse at DJ Hero! Smile

I learned some things about myself tonight. First, that i'm the shiz as lead singer in Rock Band 2! I almost didn't do it. No Way! But once again, what-the-hell? And i loved it. Didn't want to give it up when my band asked me to play bass. LOLz
Second, That i really need to start getting some of the more competitive Wii games. I mean, i take a lot of flack for being a Wii owner, and i don't have any of the games that get the Wii the little bit of respect it actually has. So if anybody has copys of Smash Bros. and/or MarioKart that they want to trade, holla at me!

So in conclusion, passed out GoG flyers, competed, sang, took photos and had great fun. Looking forward to the next time i can do this! Plus theres a Call of Duty Tournement this Tuesday! Woot!

    Very Happy Ninja
