  1. E3 2008 Sony News @ E3 2008

Player Chronicle -- Posted on Jul 19 2008

My trip to E3 started out with a quick Sony story. As I walked through the Minneapolis/St. Paul airport on my way to LA, I saw this vending machine that had fairly high end Sony products such as PSPs, games, headphones, and all sort of other electronics. I had to stop and take a quick photo and I was even tempted to grab a Tiger Woods game for my PSP!

Once we were at E3, I realized that I should have spent more time with this company. A lot of credit was being given to Sony for their enhanced user interface and high amount of solid looking games coming, but I only had 3 days?!

We missed the press conference on Tuesday and only went inside the main private room briefly, because my plane was leaving and we had to do a final photo shoot. I can say that the main Sony private room looked like a techno colored ballroom and with purples, blues, greens, and pinks it was a cool environment to look at the latest work of the company that was declared the early winner of E3 by Yahoo Games.

We literally sat in the entrance of the room and talked with our team the whole time we were in the private room, but I did see Resistance 2 and the new user interface being shown near the front of the room. Sorry Sony and PS3 fans, I dropped the ball with this one, but many of the games I DID review, will relate and be available on the Playstation 3, so I hope that makes up for it…
