As Microsoft Tech-Ed 2008 got underway today, we immediately saw the crowd coming to rock out at the Brocade booth, from the very beginning!
Even as we had setup the day before, people from other companies were drawn to our party, but now it was time to really play
As rockstars/IT professionals from all around the world were drawn to the Brocade booth and our exciting gaming exhibition, the Jet Set Studio team enjoyed sharing the virtual musical experience with thousands of people and also helped bring ALL of them into the Brocade booth for their swag and information on some of the very cool and industry-leading Brocade file/data management technology and products.
The day's event was broke into two sessions, so as much as we enjoyed the morning and saw some serious high scores on The Metal on medium and Cliffs of Dover on expert, it didn't compare to the evening's event, which was a cocktail and dinner party presented by Dell and Intel. With drinks in hand, many rockstars came out to play and we had a huge crowd all evening, since this event was held only in the event's booth areas
By the end of the night, it was time to crown the day's top performance. The expert division winner, Dean5101 (new GoG Member of course), played against our own RyuBlitz for the final exhibition and with one of the largest crowds of the day, was presented the Xbox 360 for Day 1 at the Brocade booth.
Whew...what a day...it was full of some serious Plastic Rockstars, but also an amazing chance to network and share our video game management services and of course, all of us here on GatheringofGamers.com! We're excited to rock the rest of the week and this was truly the perfect start to an amazing experience...
