1. Resident Evil: Degeneration

   Ever since I've played the first Resident Evil, I've been hoping for a movie, erm, a good movie. The three live action Resident Evil films didn't do it for me. I wanted more. A couple months back, I heard about Capcom's latest project, Resident Evil: Degeneration. The movie is a feature length CGI film.
   
   The film takes place 7 years after Residen Evil 2 & 3 and 1 year after Resident Evil 4. The main protagonists are Leon S. Kennedy (RE 2, 4) and Claire Redfield (RE 2, Code Veronica). I'll try my best to explain this movie without spoilers.
   
   The two heroes find themselves in an airport terminal during a T-Virus outbreak. This outbreak leads to the investigation of a new company, Wilpharma. Wilpharma is being criticized for experimentation with the T-virus. Umbrella has small ties to this movie, since it has been destroyed and all. This movie does a great job of setting the stage for Resident Evil 5, although in small ways. (wait until the end). The movie feels like a 90 minute cut-scene. Capcom did a great job with this, and I'm hoping the sequel they hinted at in the special features is real. If you are a huge fan of the series like me, you'll enjoy this movie. If you don't know much about resident evil, the movie is still entertaining, you just might be confused about some things. Capcom made this for the fans. As far as I'm concerned, those crappy movies starring Milla Jovavich don't exist. This is how a video game film should be made.
