I recently purchased an apple airport express(i would have pics but i don't currently have a camera) and i was hoping i could do a wireless bridge between my wireless network and my xbox 360, but i can't get it to work. I know that it is possible because everywhere i look on the internet about it, it apparently it works!!?!

if anybody can/will help, please do

With the wireless setup you proposed, you're bound to get some amount of skip or lag no matter how fast your incoming internet connection is.

You should look into a wall-plugged ethernet bridge. They have to be used in pairs (although singles can be added at any time). Basically, they plug into any existing outlet in your home (NOT a power strip), the first at the point where your broadband modem is located (doesn't matter if it's DSL or cable), and the second at the point where you want to connect your device (XBox, network printer, whatever). These have software to "discover" other devices on this network and connect automatically. They're hard-wired (you use a short piece of Cat5e to connect from the wall plug to the device), so you never get the skip or lag typical with a wireless setup.

They're made by NetGear. Super easy to install and set up. XE102 is the model number if you want to Google it. Delivers up to 14Mbps using the existing copper wiring of your home!
