1. Snowed In

   So, it's a little after 4am right now. I'm up because my roommates decided to get into an argument and I can hear a pin drop in this duplex the walls are so thin. I was going to get up around now anyways though, so it works out. I was planning to shovel the driveway again, but after looking outside it seems to be pointless.
   
   Iowa is now engaged in the worst snow storm it has seen this millennia. I'm hoping that I don't have to work today, but that may not be the case. Looking outside though there looks to be about 3 foot snow drifts every where. The streets are all full of snow as the plows aren't running do to the constant hard blowing wind. In short, it's a blizzard and we're all snowed in.
   
   So, I'm going to take this time to continue to work on the GoG Tournament Connection Tool that is nearing completion. Drink a lot of coffee, hope that work doesn't say we have to hit the road today, we normally work no matter what, and spend some quality time with my son.
   
   To the rest of the GoGizens that are in similar situations, who's gearing up to game today and what games are you playing? Anybody braving the blizzard conditions to build a winter wonder land? Me, I'm staying in as long as possible, at least until the wind dies down. Stay warm peoples.

   I stayed up a bit late, because I knew this was going to be a Snow Day for me. I'm glad to hear Snow Day = GoG TcT development!
   
   As you may have seen, we also went out and played in the snow. My GoG photo turned out kind of neat
   
   I'm still working on the brackets today, working in my "home office", and playing some MW2 of course, but also busted open that Shaun White Snowboarding game I've been waiting to try. I wrote a brief video game reviewing Chronicle, so feel free to check that out Will.

   Yeah 4:27 right now, I just don't sleep much, a lot of wind is for sure. The snow seems to be falling horizontally rather then vertically. Hopefully you won't have to drive through it to work, but if you end up being required to, I wish you the best of luck. I was playing Call of Duty MW2 but my internet is pissing me off lately and is constantly lagging me out of games, in the last 3 hours I have gotten in maybe 7 full games, so finally I just gave up. I don't have the patience for Mediacom... This is the second day in a row that DMACC has cancelled classes, and the worst part is, these were days that finals were supposed to be on... not good. I'll probably be outside plowing the driveway soon, thankfully we got a plow for our ATV, saves a ton of time. Hope the snow recedes soon.
