I found something really freaking creepy. Go to the Hospital, inside the Sanitarium. Go over to the elevator and turn to the left and go all the way to the last room. Inside turn the left and look at the big jar on the bottom shelf...for added effect zoom in on it.

Hey, what's going on? I'm still on the lookout for fake guitar deals for you, and came across one that's supposedly going on in-store at Sears. People have been saying that Sears is selling GH Aerosmith bundles for $8. GHIII game only for $3. It might be worth calling and seeing if your local stores are doing that. I don't even know if you have Sears where you are, but just thought you should know anyway.

I've been working on my Morrowind challenge, which is FINALLY starting to get easier, so I may have that done by the end of the week. Other than that, I've been playing Diablo and some NES games - mostly Monster Party (LOL I love that game) and Marble Madness.

Wal-Mart is usually cool about stuff like that, though. I've read numerous stories of people doing it, and they didn't have receipts either. Oh, and if you're looking for GH2 bundles, try best buy. I was there a couple months ago, and they were liquidating their supply (at about $32 a bundle ) Odds are that they're all gone now, but it's worth a shot! If that fails, just buy a new guitar and find the games by themselves at used stores. I don't know how the market is out on the coast, but here, you can get GHII for $25-$30, GHIII for $15, and Rock Band for around $35-$40.

Yes, you need Rock Band. It's such a fun game. See if you can take your PS3 Guitar Hero bundle back to wal-mart and exchange it for the 360 version while you're at it! Here's a list of all the games I has.

You got Tactics Ogre for free? Man, I need to move down to there and get in on some of this rare game action! Lol, maybe not, but Iowa sucks as far as game hunting goes. Everyone with older games around here ends up taking them into the 2 stores here in town that still sells them (all we have in Cedar Rapids is two Gamestops and two Video Games Etc. - VGE is/are Nazis) and then they get marked up to their real values and then some. It sucks. Pawn shops occasionally get something I'm interested in, (got Diablo for ps1 for $4 once) but most of the time there isn't anything exciting.

Truth be told... Life IS out to get each and everyone one of us... and eventually it will ^^ that's the beautiful thing about it all... it's not just ME... it's EVERYONE

But that just makes it more worthwhile, since we are all aware (or should be, once we reach our teens) that we are all going to end the same way (except me, haunting the internet ^^) so spend the time you have with doing everything you could ever dream of.. there's no other way to go about it ^^ (not for me at least)

I'll drop in on the forums for a while and sneak around, but it's great to hear from you again ^^ Give my regards to Loosh, if I don't do it myself

hehe, no I have not left for good (and if everything goes according to my plans, I will die someday and then my soul shall for eternity wander aimlessely around the internet spreading strange rumours on forums about afterlife and God...)

I don't want to go into any specifics and bore you with my life story, but I can say that I have lived and now live a very complicated life, with so much more than just gaming

Gaming is my way to escape from this, thus when I do find spare time, I mainly use it on escaping the "real world"

From time to time, my mind wanders astray and I cannot communicate with people..

It's rather complicated, but the main thing I wanted to say would be;

If I do stay away from the internet for some time (which I apparently do ^^) don't worry about me not caring or leaving for good, it's just that... life get's in my way

Yeah, I hate the dentist too, but I might have been able to avoid this experience if I went more often. (The last time I went to see him before my most recent visit was about 4 years ago. ) Regardless, I'm glad I won't have to deal with the pain anymore!

I had my wisdom teeth taken out too, but they knocked me out for that. It must have been really freaky for you though.

Working for CG Magazine defiantly has its advantages some times I wonder if I ever get any time off but its because I am so passionate about the industry that I don’t mind it. If you are ever interested there are always jobs available at the magazine “right now there are only intern positions” check it out at www.chixgm.com there you will find the navigation menu on the right with all the links you can think of.

Yeah, I'm thinking if I ever get it back from him I'm not going to let it go again anytime soon. LOL

I like the MySims DS but haven't played it on the Wii. My sister bought it and told me the DS version was better. She's not quite the gamer girl or anything and pretty much just sticks with the sim type games.

lol thanks. I just wanted to show you why you didn't get the stick on that guy - the double kill was just a little something extra. (btw, you had a ton of sticks in that game. ) I also sent a message to Looshkin about a possible fix for his "unable to play custom content" or whatever error. hehe, yeah. the summers here in stockholm are great and we have a lake nearby where I use to spend my summer-nights, just wandering by the boardwalk and sitting down to play Gameboy in the moonlight =)

In sweden, as the winters are long, people become different in the summertime, more friendly and peaceful =)

This is what makes the winters worth it =) To see the complete change of personality in people

(sorry, I'm rambling.. =) And now my WoW is finished installing, so I will take my leave for now =)

hehe, we get 77-86 (Fahrenheit) at the most (we use Celsius over here, then it would be 25-30 ^^)

I fell in love with the GTA series with the first one, but always imagined it in 3D ^^

It's not so much running around telling people what to do and kill people that makes the GTA series to me... It's the stunts! =) (and in GTA IV the driving in general).. I never will have a dtrivers license and I'm too scared to fight with people, so this game is perfect for me =)

I may not know much of geography, but I can imagine that it's pretty hot all year round in California (and I know it's clichë to mention the weather), but here in Sweden, we've had a looooong grey, rainy, snowy winter and now it's finlaly spring, so I am outside enjoying the few months of sun we get =)

Been a while ^^ (I've been stuck with GTA IV and life =)

Found 2 "rare" (not RARE, rare, but... rare) titles for the GC "Legend of Zelda - Collector's Edition) and "Legend of Zelda Wind-Waker - Limited Edition")

Soon done installing WoW (haven't played it for about 7-8 months), hooked up to my TV, with an x360 controller and a headset ^^ I'm up for adventure =)

I was just getting back to Super Mario and Breath of Fire when I found this game... It's truly of epic proportions and consumes alot of time (I bought it Monday, and I have played well over 8 hours already (not counting all times I've restarted ^^)

It lets me choose, whether to follow the story line (choosing between a couple of different characters); or "custom", where there is no story-line, but still missions and an empire to build.

(forgive my ramblings, I'm going to write a short review of it now instead )

I've been through how it is being a "man"/"boy" and listening to all their... forgive my bad language BULL**IT, about girls.

I mean, come'on.. watching Baywatch!? *sighs* no.....

It's just how we (as a "human" race), have seperated from the truth; nevermind what you have between your legs, you are still a part of what is being a "human"; and NO human, no-matter color/sex, are STILL a HUMAN!

And it's the fact that we make difference on whether we were born as man/woman/black/white in not only the main-stream (computer//console-games/movies), but also in "general" that makes me... (I won't say the word, since I try to keep this community as friendly as I can.. but let's just put the worst curses in there, we can possibly think of)

Now, don't get me wrong... I (somewhere down the line) pretend to hold up the illusion of being a "man" and thus I do enjoy my fair share of "fantasy-proportioned" ladies... But come on... Haven't we've had enough of it already? Couldn't they (like Super Mario Bros 2) release a game, where the heroine was just that; A heroine. (I am however at the moment starting to play Wonderboy in Monsterland VI, where you play as Wonderboy's Girlfriend instead, anime-drawn and green-haired ^^), but if "someone" would make... let's just say an "occasional platformer", with a girl, instead... or (and this is one of the main reasons I respect Rare); Kameo!

Sure, Kameo looks great (for being a polygonal 3D-character, that is) and she in her own form, seems like a capable woman; and when she does change form, it is into a "non-gender" character, which suits me fine, since I know that it's still Kameo underneat.

I think we need more of those games, and not "Barbie's horse Adventures".

The fact that they (finally) made Harvest Moon "both-gender", just proves that we are going in the right direction

(sorry for rambling... it's a touchy issue for me)

When (if) they release an Animal Crossing for the Wii, I will definitively (or however you spell it) buy it!
It's not just that I spend... months... making my AC town look nice and all, but I think it's a game which will never die, since it applies to all generations (you being 19 and loving it, me being 30 and loving it, should prove that point ^^)

I should dig deeper into eBay, however, it may just be so that it's "only" sweden, who haven't released it(?) I am the only one that I know of (in Europe) who plays Harvest Moon. But that is (once again) one of those titles that applies to all ages. And I just love the "flow" of it; it's a simple concept, but it can "keep you up at night" (or months ^^)...

I'm looking for the Girl version of it.. "Another Wonderful Life", but it's pretty hard to get a hold of here in Sweden (If I do get a daughter, I'd think she'd appreciate it more, if she could play as a girl... I am ... what do you call it... "appaled" by the fact that the only heroine I know of, which made an impact is Lara Croft (Tomb Raider); not that I mind the games, but... it just seems so.... .... don't know how to put it ^^

Well, the cheapest Wii I can find in Sweden cost a little more than 400(US)$, so it'll have to wait until I can find a second-hand one (that is how I buy almost all my consoles, so that's not a problem ^^)

A shame however that a Magical Melody for the GC, wouldn't be released over here, since (IMHO) they apply to all ages!

Oh well... I always wanted a Wii anyways (mainly due to MySims, though. Since I've heard it's alot like Animal Crossing ^^)

And I do tend to collect all consoles I can get my hands on (at an affordable price =), but when it comes to consoles/games, I'm like a little child on Christmas... I can't wait!!!! hehe

I searched all the swedish (european) sites, I could find... and the reason I haven't been able of getting a hold of Magical Melody, is because it was never released in Europe =/ (or so it seems), it IS however released on the Wii... so now, all I need is some plastic-explosives and a bank ^^

I cannot run NTSC games on my PAL system, unfortanly... and all places that "used to" sell the "converter-kit" have seized to do so, because the manufacturer has stopped making them =/

Although it would be pretty neat to have a game, not released in Europe, I'd like to be able to play it as well =)

So once again, I am most grateful for the offer, but, I guess I'll have to get a Wii instead =)

Regarding Harvest Moon; I would be interested, but at the moment (and for some time), money will be scarce, so better let that rest, until I can say that I have enough.

Halo 2 was teamwork and not so much individual skill (it helped dont get me wrong), but in H3, its more about slaying the other team and coming up on them and doing w.e it takes to get that one shot advantage.

A NES without duckhunt... I would call it blasphemy, but since it's one of those "rare" titles, I'll let it slip ^^
that is mainly the game I play most, when I do pick up nes (with a zapper of course =)

Mario 3, was a great title and it seems that most people enjoy that the most of the 2D-titles (my girlfriend refuses to play Super-Mario World with me ^^)
I do however prefer playing the Super-Mario games on SNES (Super Mario Allstars+World), mainly because of the graphics. =/

I know the feeling of "wanting them all" ^^ and I do my best to try, but they are pretty expensive, these days (I wish I've had money "back in the days", so that I could have bought more titles, back then instead ^^)

I guess, that since I have the 360 , I've played all my games over and over, which can become a bit boring (and don't care too much for the PS3; mainly because of it's price-tag, but also because the "only" title I'm interested in is the new Final Fantasy VII)

Wii have (as Nintendo always have had), those titles you can "just pick up and play" (Mario-Kart; SSB, My Sims, Zelda, etc.), and I think that eventhough they have the fewest "best-seller" titles, the ones that are good actually ARE good (so to speak)

Microsoft is new to the market and thus MS themselves do not release that many ground-braking titles, whereas if you buy an Nintendo game, you know what you get for your money...

The old NES controller, truly set the standard for gaming (I was mainly into computers at that time and we only had 1 button on the joystick ^^) and although they are shaped in a manner, which many feel is "uncomfortable" (ie. they're not "ergonomic"), I still find them to be amongst the top 10 (Xbox 360, I must admit is the best one and PS2 on a close second)

aaah... good old NES =) there are many true classics out there; but it's a shame that most of them won't allow you to save (although, many comes with passwords, etc.)

Although I love my NES to death, I've only got a handful of games, which I stil play on it, but having beaten them a couple of times and then I move on to new ones ^^

I'd say the main problem is, that I've played too many "similiar" games; ie. "yet another platform" and it's hard to find those true "gems"; which you can play over and over

I've been stuck in Link's Awakening for quite some time now and it seems that I will "have to" read a solution for the problem, since I'm amazed how great the game is =) but frustrated that I can't get past the point I've been stuck at for over a week

I am going to go through the LucasFilms/Arts Adventure games again, since it's been a while... (and I need a good laugh or two), other than that I'm looking for a game to keep me "hooked" and it's rather hard to find

Well, apart from my computer messing up and 2 of my Harddrives malfunctioning (lost around 500gb with information and stuff); things are quite fine =)
I have yet to try portal, but I've read about it and it seems like a nice addition to the gaming-market, since (what I've read) it's vey innovative
I am trying to focus on the 16-bit era of gaming at the moment (Amiga, Genesis and SuperNES), since I'm a bit fed up with 3D and want some good old standard platforming, shoot'em ups and (of course) Japanese RPG's =)
(I am still trying to get my act together and playing through FFVII on PSX, though... but it's just that FFVI feels so much more alive)
And once again, I am in way over my head with games ^^
How goes it with Silent Hill: Origins? made it through yet?

Reminds me of Majora's Mask (Zelda), the way you can transform.

And it's created by one of my all time favourite companies; Rare. (Xbox owners, don't know how lucky they are that Rare left Nintendo).

Dead Rising, is great fun to pick up every once in a while and just hack away Zombies (I love George A. Romero's Zombie-Quartet (and the remakes))

I as well, "prefer" having 2 of each system (Have 2 Genesis and 2 NES), but it takes time (and money) to invest in all of them.

Unfortanly here in Sweden it's difficult to find the "less known" consoles (less known in Europe that is) like; DreamCast, NeoGeo, GameGear, Saturn, etc.

But I am still "young" and there are plenty of auction sites out there, so before I turn 90, I should have collected "at least" 2 of each ^^

Since Halo 3 "is" the "flagship" of 360; there is not many excuses not to have it =)

And once again, I will have to "regret" selling my PS2, not being able to play all those great RPG's... But "soon" I'll invest in another PS2.
(I¨'ll be sure to watch Youtube for it meanwhile ^^)

Viva Pinata is a dangerous game; once you start playing; it's very hard to stop =)

I've gotten plenty of the "sour" Pinatas converted and I even have Elephants (it took a while =)

But since a while back, I've put it aside, since I played it... "too much" ^^

I have just "reset" all of my gaming; (Deleted all save-games, except for Link's Awakening, that is), since I was playing way too many games at once =)

Going to start focusing on "one game at the time" (of each genre) for a while, and see how it holds up =)

The main reason I've not bought an XBL-Card, is because I have no friends to play with.

So you would be the first on my list =) (and a good reason to get XBL again ^^)

I will have to warn you though... I suck at Halo (1+2, that is); but I'll invest in it asap so that I can train a bit =)

Trading Pinata's sounds like loads of fun. I love the game and I love the Pinatas (although I am "only" a bit more than half-way into the game)

Haven't tried Beautiful Kamari yet(?) What kind of game is it?

(I wil basically play ANY game, which has Co-Op... I prefer working together, rathen than against eachother.... unless it's Team Fortress (1 that is.. haven't gotten the second one yet))

Glad you like that map! I went through last night and tweaked it a little bit by filling in some of the gaps, making things line up better, replacing/removing some weapons, etc. I still can't figure out why the man-cannons just stop working sometimes, but oh well. All that's left is to plot starting points and assigning team spawn points and it's done.

That map was built almost exclusively for King of the Hill, (the hill being on top of the crates that have the shield doors on them) but it should work pretty well with any gametype.

it's a good thing that Sony has not yet completely abandoned the PS2: It's a good piece of hardware and there are so many great titles for it.. 'I have yet to try a PS3, but that day will come =)

Is there any ties between the Silent Hill games? Or are they "stand-alone"? (I did watch the movie as well with a friend of mine, who has played all games and he tried to explain how it all was strung together, but I think I need to watch it one more time, before I get the whole picture)

The Resident Evil series is also a nice addition to the horror-genre, although I don't find them as scary, mainly because in RE, it's more about the "Insta-Scare" moments (ie. Zombie jumps up in front of you and "BOH!"; you're scared), whilst SH has more tention all the time and you never really know which way it will turn and twist.

The "Alone in the Dark" series where also great games, but I haven't touched any of them for... years...

Is SH 5 for PS2 as well? Or will it be PS3 exclusive?

I have only seen a friend of mine playing SH:3 for a short period of time (he lived on the country-side, with a 40" plasma and surround sound, so it was pretty scary.. but I think it should be "enjoyed" solo, to get the whole experience)

Nr. 2 is prety hard to find these days (not to mention getting a hold of nr. 1), but it was my entry to the series, so I hold it dearly ^^

Is Origins for PSP, or did they make a PS2 version as well? (I really, really need to get another PS2)

As far as Rainbow Six goes, I played nr. 1 frequently on-line and when nr. 2 came, I was ecxtatic... but along came a guy named Gooseman and he had a mod for Half-Life 1, which came to change my perspective on gaming.. It was Counter-Strike.. and lo, it was good ^^ (at least when we were only a couple of thousand players... nowadays there's just too many playing for money, and what have you not.. I like playing for fun =)

Hehe, I see what you mean =) I am trying to narrow it down, so that I can keep track of story-lines, etc. But so many games and so "short" time to play them.. (I'll be saying that until I die)

I've only played through Silent Hill 2 (PS2) and it was pretty scary, but Silent Hill 1 for the PSX scares the living *insert profanity here* out of me.

I know that I am a heretic, but... I have never even tried Halo 3 (sure I have Halo 1 and Halo 2 and came to the end of Halo 1 and halfways through Halo 2, but I prefer Co-Op in those kind of games... I did try on-line, but I got beaten all the time, so I eventually gave up); is Halo 3 the "epic" title that everyone says it is? (Been planning to get it for a while, but there are so many other games out there ^^)

Rainbow Six: Vegas is definitivly one of the best in the series, although I think that RavenShield (nr. 3) is the most tactcal.

Haven't had X-Box Live for a quite some time now (money...) but once I get it, it's time to try out the on-line mode of Rainbow =)

No, haven't been able to find HM: Magical Melody yet =/ (I am planning a trip "downtown" (stockholm City) to continue my search for it), but it is rather hard to find GC games in Stockholm right now
Am however browsing auction sites, so it'll probably show up sooner or later (soooooner!!!! ^^)

But at the moment, I've been hooked up on Final Fantasy VII (again.. again.. again ^^ =) Haven't played it for a couple of years, so it's nice to be a bit "surprised" with the story once again (since that is the main reason I love the game).

Am also trying to restart my experience with Chrono Trigger (since I recently found a copy of Chrono Cross for the PSX, but don't want to play it, until I've refreshed my Chrono Trigger memory ^^)

Thank God (or at least Japan) for great Japanese RPG's, which can stand the test of time =)

How's things working out for you? Gotten a hold of Soul Calibur III yet?

Well, if you go from playing X or X-2 to playing XII, I could see where it might really screw with you. But did you ever play FFXI Online? My Brother had it for awhile at his place & I played it whenever I was over. And the battle system in XII is very similar to XI. Also, playing the KH games kind of made me used to real-time battles. And games are always changing so I try to be open to trying new things. Right now I have 80+ hours on my file & I'm not very far into the story at all. (I like ridiculously pumping up my guys as early as possible to make later things easier?)
