  1. A-Thon X WoW: Mists of Pandaria; My thoughts: Addendum

Player Chronicle -- Posted on Nov 02 2011

So a little afterthought regarding some MoP features; i remembered how i had commented several times here and on Facebook about how, even though i've never played a Pokemon game before, i would absolutely love to try out a Pokemon MMO because the whole premise just seems perfectly suited for the MMO mentality. And already is an MMO in a very loose sense because you can play other via wifi connection and you really only feel the full experience of the game after you've done this, and continue to so regularly.
So, i thought about this is regards to MoP. I understand a lot of people are opposed to this pokemon aspect, but since this franchise rakes in obscene amounts of cash with every iteration, Blizzard could have done a lot worse than pokemon in trying to expand the WoW experience. And Blizzard MUST expand the WoW experience because, as a lot of the nay-sayers have already pointed out, WoW seems to be getting stale. (Not in my opinion, though) So it is absolutely necessary for blizzard to expand the player experience, and using a substantially lucrative play-style like collectible battling (something the japanese seem to do with EVERYTHING) is not altogether a bad idea.
So in a way, my previous comments, made half in jest, about playing a Pokemon mmo were somewhat prophetic, and not only that but it is taking place in my favoritest of places, Azaroth, just one more reason for me to stick around and see what happens.

Very Happy Ninja *glad he finally has a pokemon mmo*
