Player Chronicle -- Posted on Nov 16 2009
So, I have been having this interal battle on whether to try gamefly or not for several years now and finnaly signed up this weekend.
I'm not sure why I didn't do it sooner, it was pretty simple and i have 19 games in my queue already. Now all they have to do is ship me my first game!
Are there any longtime gamefly users around here? How has the service treated you in the long run? Do you think its worth the $15 a month?

Posted On Nov 17 2009Yes they are very slow and I also notice that they lose the games you send back. I don't know if this is a post office screw up or gamefly but they do this alot and blame it on you. It is a good idea but needs to be polished more.

Posted On Nov 17 2009Slow indeed. If the game just shipped out, expect another 2-3 business days to get to your door.
It's basically like netflix except really really drunk. -

Posted On Nov 16 2009sad to hear thats its slow, my first game was marked as shipped this afternoon, hope it doesnt take to long to get here.
However they are trying to speed up the process, i mean sueing the US government is no light step and i suppose should show that they are trying to imporve there service. -

Posted On Nov 16 2009i didn't like it much. Most games took awhile to me to get them. I service was great-its just takes entirely to long to get the "in demand" games.
