   I've played the Blur Demo quite a lot these past couple of weeks. Although I'm not the highest level, I feel like i've played it enough to write a review. This game is a lot of fun, I've only recently (in the past few months) been drawn to racing games on the Xbox 360. I've played a lot of Mario Kart in my day and playing this "Grown-up" version only made me extremely happy.
   
   The game is developed by Bizarre Creations and published by Activision. It's available on PC, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3. Blur will have single player as well as multiplayer up to 20 people online. You will level up the more you play gaining experience points, or "Fans". Gaining new levels will allow you to unlock new vehicles, customizations, courses, new online modes. Just looking at the demo, there seems to be a lot of option to unlock which I'm pretty excited to see.
   
   This game includes 8 items that you collect while racing and can use against your opponents. Shock releases three EMP fields ahead of everyone in a staggered position. This makes it so cars have to swerve in an out of them to avoid being shut down briefly. Barge is a purple energy field that you shoot to the sides of your car which pushes people to the side. It's great to use when someone is coming behind you and they move up beside you and you shove them off course. Shunt is a homing ball of energy that you can shoot forward or behind you. However if you shoot it behind you, you lose the homing effect. The Shield is exactly what you think it is, a shield. The Bolt is basically a three missiles that you can launch at your enemies to knock them to the side. The Nitro is a boost of speed that you use to catch up, simple. Mines are used to blow people up. You can also shoot them pretty far in front of you or lay it behind you. Last but not least, the Repair. Repair basically repairs your car after you've been injured from the other items.
   
   Bottom line, this game is fun. I encourage people to check this game out, the demo is free, so why not.

   Not really into racing games that much, but i'll try anything once. I need more racing games in my collection

   DUDE!!!... This is by far my most favorite racing game. I know there are other good ones like... the Burnout series and NeedforSpeed, but, this game is INCREDIBLE. For all who have never played it. Jump on Xbox Live and download the multiplayer demo. About to pre-order. OH! by the way derno... this is completely random... but you have Rock Band 2 twice in your games list XD XD.
