Disc Golf Needs a Good Video Game

Recently, my friend and I have been enjoying some rounds of disc golf. It had been a long time since I played, but it's been perfect weather and a lot of fun. This is a rare breed of fun, activity, and free-ness
As we went along playing, I had to mention that a video game version of this sport may fly. You'd have to make it feel as precise and fun as Tiger Woods-type games and maybe add some fun obstacles and crowd reactions, then bingo, EA Sports or another big development company has another cool game that they can sell annually.
The main issue in my mind, may be that the sport is pretty unorganized, but maybe the game could play fairly unorganized online?
Food for thought I suppose...

Posted On Sep 04 2008I love disc golf, I've been playing pretty avidly for the last three years or so, although not as much this year as years past. There was a series of PC titles released in the late 90s that did pretty poorly if I remember correctly. There was also rumored to be a disc golf game to come out on the Wii, but I never heard any follow up info on it. I know that there are a few flash games out there that attempt to capture the feel of the game, but they kind of fall short in doing so. Still some one will get it right one of these days.
