"You Don't Look Like A Gamer"

This week I was in picking up some new clothes. The things I selected were a bit on the bright side and as I went to the counter to checkout, the clerk said something like, "Well, these are colorful."
I responded by sharing that I was big into techno and gaming, then chuckled a bit.
She responded, "Wow, you don't look like a gamer."
We shared a laugh, but as I was walking out of the store, I realized that the very stereotype this video game community has been working to destroy, just owned me, haha. I wasn't sure whether to take this comment as a compliment or a slam, but Twitter said it was a compliment and in the end, it shows that there are still people lagging behind and believing that "gamers" are loser nerds who live in their parent's basement and have constant Cheeto stains on their fat bellies
