1. Gaming in Niagara Falls, Canada

   Some of you may have tuned in this month, as Jet Set Studio jumped up and over to Niagara Falls, Canada to manage UGC Niagara May 5-6, 2012.
   
   This was basically the same concept as The Iowa Pro Gaming Challenge, but on the road for the first time. This also our first international video game event, which was neat considering the fact that this is also our company's 5th year in business
   
   Anyways I thought I'd share a quick review of our trip to Canada...
   
   7-8 of us from various areas in the country, traveled to Niagara Falls to setup and implement the plan I developed along with the District School Board of Niagara for 4-5 months. We arrived to our hotel, which was literally right on the falls. It was a beautiful view and really inspired the crew to get the venue setup and ready to rock.
   
   The event itself was perfect. About 500 attendees, $30,000 in cash/prizes, and over 475,000 online viewers of the live stream. Talk about a successful inaugural event! In fact, here are a bunch of photos - www.facebook.com/JetSetStudio/photos
   
   After the event came to a close, the team got down to the Niagara Falls to really check out the scene. We grabbed some dinner and drinks, then concluded our adventure by seeing The Avengers in 3D. It was a great way to conclude an amazing weekend and I'm officially in love with the Red Canadian Maple Leaf
