   So I'm in a game shop yesterday, dedicated to finding something new yesterday, right? Well, it didn't happen.
   
   I don't know if it's my aggressive excitement for Modern Warfare 2, my thifty spirit for games that I know will decrease in price soon, or just a stubbornness to jump out and try something new...but it just wasn't happening. I even had Shaun White Snowboarding and Civilization Revolution in my hands, but got talked out of it by a few gamers who were also in the store!
   
   Anyways, I left the shop defeated and a sense of loneliness came over me, because I knew I'd go home and have the same mess of games I always have, haha.
   
   Here's the good part...
   
   So TODAY, I stopped by codeh4x0r's place to drop off the gaming equipment he let our team use for our last video game event. He was away on a long vacation so we caught up, but after he heard this story, he was committed to let me borrow a few games to get me out of this slump.
   
   The first game was that Civilization Revolution game that I had almost bought, as well as, Bioshock, which yes...I have not played more than a level or two yet.
   
   Thanks to Code, I came home and enjoyed a Saturday afternoon of civilization-building fun. I'd compare Civilization Revolution to Halo Wars, in the fact that if you're a PC gamer, it may seem super simple, but for a console gamer like myself, it offered just the right amount of fun and challenge.
   
   I'm glad I didn't buy this game, but I sure enjoyed it today and if you get the chance, it might be a fun way to spend a lazy afternoon on the couch

   I was just mentioning to Zach yesterday that I wanted to give Civilization Revolution a shot at some point. Ironic. Now I know that it is at least worth a rent. Thanks. By the way, how much was it used?
