Bungie Server Shutdown?!

So for the first time since I can remember, Halo 2 was almost unplayable and games were almost nonexistent tonight. Talking with a few people, they were saying that Bungie was making some major updates.
We were trying to figure out why they would be doing updates to Halo 2, with Halo 3 about to drop. I think they must have been doing network/server updates for the new flood of Halo 3 players. mmm,either way, I still wanted to play Halo 2, haha!
You've got to wonder how Bungie and Microsoft (and others of course) prepare for such a launch...
This weekend, I saw Pontiac and some other corporate giants advertising their product around this game! wow. Andy wants to contact Toyota (I'm thinking Lexus) and see if they'd like to work their cars around The GoG, haha.

Posted On Sep 12 2007Ug, Microsoft.... They are masters at releasing mediocre content, only to force you into buying something later. They're still tweaking with the Halo2 system because they want it to look EXTREMELY fast in comparison to their Halo 3 servers. That way, when you buy Halo 3, you'll barely be abale to play online and you will have such a massive Halo-attack that you will go out and re-buy that copy of halo you pawned the day before Halo 3 came out. Win-Win situation for Microsoft. Freakin losers.
