  1. BEN I Beat StrongSide in NBA JAM

    Although I would be dominated by any of these guys at the Winter Wonder LAN this weekend, I was able to take down one of MLG's top pros, Strongside, in a great game of NBA JAM.

    Along with so much awesome Halo 3 action, the location for this event was also filled with arcade games galore, so along with NBA JAM, we also enjoyed a great Mame arcade machine, Golden Tee, Basketball Shot, and even hockey in that globe thing, haha.

    It's been quite an experience so far, as you can see by the event profile, and Paul and I are looking forward to (but also a bit scared of) another all night session of professional Halo 3...


    UPDATE:     We continued playing and ended up with some 2v2 NBA JAM. Before long, we had a $5/person game going. Long story short, we continued to win and continued to go "double or nothing", haha, and my teammate and I (GT: Holcomb) ended up taking $65 each from StrongSide!

    I'm sure our undefeated record will be challenged again, after StrongSide and my teammate's Halo 3 matches, so we'll see how much of it I can keep, haha, but at this rate I hope to ADD to it Ninja


    UPDATE 2:     We were unable to get the money games fired up the last day of the Winter Wonder LAN, so I ended up taking Strongside's money I had won, home with me.

    I felt it was lucky money, so Paul (who also went to Chicago with me) and I jumped over to a casino and after only a single shoe of Blackjack cards, I turned this $70 into $150! lol

    Where could this story get any better?!

    NBA Jam is one of my favorite arcades. Good old Midway at it's best!
