1. An Arcade-Sized Dilemma

   We've all dropped a quarter (or more) into a sketchy arcade game and had the monster eat our money. At what point to you contact the owner and work to get your money back?!
   
   While in Minneapolis this weekend, this happened to me, as I wanted to play one of their crappy arcade games in the indoor pool area. I knew it was dangerous going in, but I also assumed that the decent hotel we were staying at would keep their equipment updated and in working order.
   
   Short story short, I ended up loosing $1.75 out of the $2.00 I had in converted tokens on three SEPERATE machines and only having 1/2 credits to show for it before my money was gone! Do I go to the hotel staff and ask for such a small amount back or do I just forget it, write a Chronicle to rant, and move on in life...
   
   ...Although I would have liked to get my money back and maybe even cause a scene, I think you know the answer

   You should have gone to the counter and complained. I almost guarantee that they would hand you $2, no questions asked. For one, you're paying a fair sum of money for a stay. Two, they'd rather keep you satisfied so that you'd want to return there on future visits.
   
   Just think of this as your $2 chronicle.

   There's nothing worse than finding a great old game that you haven't played (or even seen) in years, and then getting shut down! That sucks, hope it wasn't something awesome! Assuming that you didn't, I would have at least kicked the machine(s) to get my money's worth! Gently.... of course!
   
   And what is up with that image? I hope you weren't wearing that at the arcade!
