  1. Microsoft TechEd Day 4 Closing Remarks

Player Chronicle -- Posted on Jun 18 2008

As Microsoft Tec-Ed 2008 comes to a close, we can't help but to thanks all the attendees and partnering companies who made this such an exciting and positive event!

We met thousands of gamers, who all tried their hand at being a Plastic Rockstar and at the same time, we were able to share the amazing technology and services of Brocade. Each day, we saw new GoG members arriving and hopefully this profile will help to connect everyone and share the experiences of the amazing convention.

Day 4 was the fun and relaxing day at Tech-Ed, because all the partnering booths were giving away their big raffle prizes and the day was short and sweet. Our Brocade booth was giving away a sweet guitar signed by Slash, the beanbags from the Brocade Beanbag Lounge, 1GB flash drives, and of course more tshirts Very Happy Not to mention the Xbox 360 we gave to our expert top score and the daily Guitar Hero: Aerosmith that was won by the medium division's top score Shocked

Within the photo and video galleries of this event's GoG profile, you'll find photos and videos to show the pandemonium, but when it came time to announce the winners, a crowd really gathered and began chanting BROCADE ROCKS, BROCADE ROCKS, BROCADE ROCKS! It was very cool and a great way to put some icing on this week's big event.

After the doors closed for the convention, we started pulling down our equipment and got packed up to head out. It was amazing to see the war zone that became that room, as everyone was packing things up and tearing things down! We ran into a few snags trying to get everything shipped back to Des Moines, but it wasn't much of an issue and we all forgot about it as we sat down to eat a huge steak dinner to celebrate our week.

We truly rocked Microsoft Tech-Ed 2008 and at the same time, we were able to share GatheringofGamers.com AND network with other large companies, in order to continue offering the Jet Set Studio video game management services.

We all had an amazing time and our team was perfect for the event. We're hoping to stay connected with all you who met us down in Florida and will hopefully see you at Microsoft Tech-Ed 2009!!!
