ok ppl so the red ring of death just happened so your gonna send it away...nope your going to do wat i say in a vid is it garentied to work nope but is it better then waiting for weeks or months yup so heres wat u o when u turn on your system and the ring of death is there turn off the system go get 2 LARGE bath towls an rap them around system while its of then after being put in the towls u turn it on after being turned on leave it in the towls for 15 minutes on the vid is says for once u are acculty trying to overheat the system then after 15 minutes un-rap the system turn it off for antoher 15 minutes and if the vid is true you should be back in buisness

Posted On Mar 24 2008DONT DO THIS. It will only be a temporay fix.. and it will only last for a couple of hours. NOT to mention that your overheating your system and will void your warranty with microsoft. ive seen these videos...and i can see why you would want to try it because lets face it the quicker the better... but PLEASE dont do this. if you want a quick fix sure... but if u want to void your for sure fix with microsoft then dont!!
