Ok so im really thinking about heading to the next MLG event, not Anaheim, but the next one. Theres just a few things that i'm wondering before i fully commit to going.

    1. whats do you get if you win or do good? if the passes are so expensive then there has to be an award of some kind right?

    2. Do MLG events have CoD or just Halo, Gears, and EA Sports Challenge

those are my 2 biggest things im wondering about. any answers?

John, I don't think you attend one of these events trying to win it all, but instead get an idea of what these events are like and do your best with whatever game you're there to play. I think SweetIceCream answered your questions though.

Also, I think you'll find that the competition is A LOT harder than you think, but at the same time, the fun of being at an event like this makes losing not a big deal Wink

If you indeed go to MLG Orlando, let's talk, because you'll be taking GoG stuff down there for us!

I believe the prize money from these events is pretty substancial, if i'm not mistaken. I watched Str8 Rippin play on youtube and the checks are pretty big. I mean in amount, not actual size....but the size is pretty big to. :P Maybe thats how they can afford to do it professionally. :/
