What can I say about dark souls. Not many people know about it. I mean it went down to like 20$ at gamestop within a month of its release. It however shouldnt be a game to overlook. It has a deep deep system like no other game out there. You play as a undead like person called a hollow. There are several classes to choose in the beginning but choosing a class doesnt restrict you to anything. Its more of like a stat advantage. For example picking a sorcerer would start you out with more Intelligence to help with spells and would give you the gear to be a efficient spellcaster. Where as picking a knight would give you more HP and heavier gear to be a more tank like character. As you go throught the world known as Lordran you will come across a wide variety of enemies and once defeated they drop souls. Souls are the most important thing in the game. They can be used as experience and money. As you level up using souls, the soul requirement raises. As you explore through the world and each area you will eventually come to the world boss (Not going to spoil any of them) they are challenging, each with there own fighting styles and tactics but the rewards for defeating the bosses are great. There is another type of currency in the game. It is called humanity. Humanity is more rare than souls but they have a greater purpose. Using 1 humanity causes you to turn from hollow, into human. Being human has many purposes. It can cause you to engage in co-op sessions with up to 2 friends, engage in pvp, talk to certain npcs, and increase your drop rate for items. Dark souls is the second game of the series so far. Its previous title was called demon souls. Dark souls II has already been announced and previewed and it looks very promising so far. Now, I have talked about the game and its engine and parts But is the game good???

Frame Rate Drops in certain areas (EX: Blight Town. Crystal Caverns)

Dark souls is truelly one of a kind and I suggest most players who have not tried the game out to definitely atleast give it a go. Its cheap now a days and can be dangerously addicting
